East Division

The East Division encompasses portions of Council District 4, 8 and the majority of District 5. At the center of the Division is George District where you’ll find a diverse group of neighborhoods to include Poly, Stop Six, West Meadowbrook, Central Meadowbrook, Eastern Hills, Carver Heights and others. In Henry District, the diversity continues with White Lake Hills, Woodhaven, Ryanwood, Handley, Bentley-Waterchase, the River Trails communities and many more. Regardless of the neighborhood you encounter, you’ll find a passionate group of homeowners that are committed to working hand-in-hand with their Police Department to improve their communities.

The East Division stretches from Beach Street to the Airport and is full of history and opportunity, no matter which route you take to get there. With Texas Wesleyan University, the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute, American Airlines Corporation, and Bell Helicopter all within our borders, the East Division is not only a great place to expand your education, but also a great place to live and work. Whether you’re passing through to see the many public works of art in the Division, looking for a local shop to spend your afternoon, or looking to enjoy some great barbeque, the East Division has it all and is open for business.
