Deputy Chief Chris Daniels
Deputy Chief Chris Daniels began his career with the Fort Worth Police Department in 2005. Over the years, he has served in various roles, including positions in Crimes Against Children, Major Case, Gang Unit, Hostage Negotiation, Internal Affairs, Public Information Officer, Chief of Staff, and Commander of the Central Patrol Division.
As Deputy Chief, he has overseen Tactical Command, which includes SWAT, Narcotics, Vice, Intelligence, Gang, Special Operations, and he is currently responsible for Operational Command, which encompasses the Training Division, Professional Standards/Internal Affairs, Policy Management, and Fleet.
Deputy Chief Daniels is a veteran of the United States Air Force, holds a bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University, a Graduate Certificate in Public Safety from the University of Virginia, a Master Peace Officer certification and he is a graduate of the FBI National Academy
