Deputy Chief Buck Wheeler

Deputy Chief Buck Wheeler joined the Fort Worth Police Department in 1999, and currently oversees the Community Alliance Command. He has served as an officer, sergeant, lieutenant and commander in Patrol, as well as a Deputy Chief over Operational Command. He has also served in various roles at the Training Division, Gang Unit, Criminal Investigations, Use of Force Oversight, Procedural Justice Unit and Administration. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, has completed the FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy, earned a TCOLE Master Peace Officer License and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration.
