Sex Offender Registration and Tracking Unit
The Sex Offender Registration and Tracking Unit (SORT) is assigned within the Special Victims Section (SVS) of the Criminal Investigative Division (CID). The Unit provides registration services to sex and terrorist offenders moving to and already living in, the City of Fort Worth. SORT monitors only the sex offenders' activity to verify compliance with the Sex Offender Registration Program and the conditions of their parole or probation.
