Community Forums

The Community Policing Forums are conducted to:

  • Build a better verbal dialogue between the community and the police department
  • Maintain a continuous working relationship and address various concerns of the community
  • Allow community groups and residents the opportunity to gather together, hear about the latest projects and programs, and ask questions/give feedback to numerous police officials.

The Diversity Forums are conducted to:

  • Make a difference
  • Build alliances across differences so we can work together

The concept of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect which is the police department's motto: Service with Respect, Dedicated to Protect.
