South Command

Deputy Chief Paula FimbresSouth Command is under the direction of Deputy Chief Paula Fimbres, who has been with the Fort Worth Police Department since 2001. She holds a Master Peace Officer License and a Police Instructor’s License through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. She has completed the Leadership Trilogy training through FBI-LEEDA and the Women’s Leadership Institution through the International Association of Chiefs of Police. She has also earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University. Throughout her career, she has served as a patrol officer, detective, sergeant, lieutenant, captain and commander in several different units. She currently oversees the daily operations in the South, East and Central Patrol Divisions and the Community Outreach Division.
