Auto Pound

In 2018, AutoReturn was awarded a contract with City of Forth Worth, TX to manage the dispatch, towing and impound services for the City of Fort Worth rotational tow program. AutoReturn is working with existing local towing and impound  providers that have performed these important services for years. AutoReturn’s role is to facilitate the automated dispatching of tow requests, ensure the professional release of vehicles to their owners and assist with tow company compliance.

Fort Worth Auto Auction Information
At this time we are not conducting live on-site auctions. Until further notice, all vehicles are being sold online at www.lonestarauctioneers.com

Current City approved wrecker fees (as of 11/24/2021):
  • Standard: $150.00
  • Tilt Bed/Rollback: $150.00
  • Heavy Duty: $250.00 per hour
  • Administrative fee: $25.00
  • Preservation/Impoundment fee: $21.03
  • Storage fee: $21.03 per day. Over 25 feet: $36.80 per day
  • Notification fee: $50.00
  • Extra Labor on Towage: $100.00 per hour
  • Second Wrecker: $150.00 (standard wrecker) and $250.00 (heavy duty wrecker) covering first hour

Notification letters will be sent to the last known owner/lien holder after 48 hours and the $50.00 Notification Fee will be applied to the final cost of the impoundment. Extra labor charges will be applied to the wrecker fee, when applicable.
