Operational Command

Deputy Chief Swearingin

Operational Command is under the direction of Deputy Chief Swearingin and consists of the Training Division, Professional Standards Division, and Communications Division & Quality Assurance.  Deputy Chief Swearingin has been employed with the Fort Worth Police Department since 1995. She holds a Master Peace Officer License and a Police Instructor’s License from TCLEOSE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education). She has Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, and is a graduate from the FBI National Academy.

During her tenure with the Fort Worth Police Department, assignments include: Patrol, Gang, Training Academy, School Liaison, Detective office, Internal Affairs, Criminal Investigations, Special Victims Section, Chief’s Office, Special Investigation, Tactical Operations and Operational Command.

In her tenure with the department she’s received multiple awards and recognition.
