This information reflects crimes as reported to the Fort Worth Police Department as of the current date. Crime classifications are based upon preliminary information supplied to the Fort Worth Police Department by the reporting parties and the preliminary classifications may be changed at a later date based upon additional investigation. Therefore, the Fort Worth Police Department does not guarantee (either expressed or implied) the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or correct sequencing of the information contained herein and the information should not be used for comparison purposes over time. The Fort Worth Police Department will not be responsible for any error or omission, or for the use of, or the results obtained from the use of this information. Due to the preliminary nature of the reports, media outlets should make a diligent effort to confirm any information not included in News or Press Releases issued by the Public Relations Office prior to reporting it. Confirmation can be made by contacting the Police Public Relations Office.

This online site is an attempt to make it easier for citizens to access offense reports. In disseminating this information about reported criminal incidents, we must also comply with current laws that regulate the release of potentially sensitive and confidential information. To ensure that privacy concerns are protected and legal standards are met, the following categories of information will not be made available through this website.

• Sexually oriented offenses
• Offenses where juveniles or children (individuals under 18 years of age) are involved
• Reference to individuals considered suspects and witnesses
• Listing of property items that are considered evidence
• Offenses deemed “Attempted Suicide”
• Individuals who believe that additional or more complete information is warranted are encouraged to submit a public information request, per state law.
